From a field of celebrated historic hotels, Marriott Syracuse Downtown has been named Best City Center Historic Hotel by Historic Hotels of America (HHA). The award was presented on Sept. 28 at a Gala Dinner at The Omni Homestead Resort (Va.) before an audience of owners, senior management, industry leaders, and representatives from the finest historic hotels around the world. Owner Ed Riley was on hand to accept the award on behalf of the hotel. This award is presented to a hotel located in a city center that bests celebrates its history in the guest experience and provides exceptional hospitality and service. It is the first time a hotel has earned this distinction as a new member.
