Upon transition, the Crescent Global Sales team was immediately deployed to implement strategies to push ADR growth and identify efficiencies throughout the operation. These modified strategies included boosting the capture of Transient room nights, while increasing rates, resulting in a 38% increase in Transient room revenue. The Sales and Revenue team also shifted focus to take advantage of missed opportunities throughout the segmentation and were able to capture additional Corporate and SMERF business. Through this strategy, Occupancy increased 16 points, resulting in 48% RevPAR growth.
The Doubletree Orlando SeaWorld has experienced tremendous success through the pandemic and continues to achieve strong financial growth. The Crescent Commercial team has been able to drive significant ADR growth by implementing strategic revenue management objectives and focus on remixing segmentation. By leveraging Crescent's existing revenue management tools and strategies, the hotel has been able to reduce FIT room nights by 38,000 and decrease Opaque room nights by over 3,000. By shifting lower rated business into higher rated ADR segments, the hotel has been able to achieve $14 in ADR growth and experienced $2M in Transient room revenue growth over 2019. The DoubleTree reached a 102.7% RevPAR Index in a high performing market, which is the highest RevPAR index the property has ever achieved.
