Sheraton Expands Presence In Florida With New Resort In Panama City Beach
Panama City, FL (November 21, 2016) - After over $30 million in capital improvements, Sheraton Bay Point Resort has opened under the management of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Crescent, based in Fairfax, Virginia is a nationally recognized operator of premier hotels and resorts throughout the United States and Canada. Crescent managed the design, branding, food & beverage concepts, construction and pre-opening efforts of the transformation of the property to the new Sheraton Bay Point Resort.
The renovations included a top-to-bottom transformation of all guestrooms, public areas, water features and grounds, including the resort's three restaurants and lounges and its 60,000 square feet of meeting/social facilities.

Boasting a scenic location within a 1,100-acre wildlife preserve on St. Andrews Bay, Sheraton Bay Point Resort features 320 guest rooms, including 200 in the main building and 120 golf villas. An ideal choice for events or golf tournament, Sheraton Bay Resort offer 36 holes of Championship golf, 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting and social space, as well as a variety of recreation facilities, including a private beach, three outdoor pools, a variety of watersports, golf and tennis clubhouse, a 12,000 square foot full-service luxury spa, onsite marina, and the private Bay Point Lady private boat to Shell Island (one of only three personal docks located on Shell Island).
